PETRA DRESS AND TEE - FOR GRACIOUS THREADS

Did you know that Gracious Threads had just released a brand new pattern? Like always a simple and practical pattern for an everyday girl. I find my petit in the last couple months to be a jeans and tee kind of girl when she wants to go play outside or when she is at school. Otherwise she is a very girly-I-just-want-dresses-and-skirts kind of girl (wink wink).

The first time I saw the Petra dress and tee pattern I knew immediately that I wanted to test it because it united in one pattern what my petit cherishes most: a tee for comfort and fun and a dress for all the others occasions (yes, my daughter even wears dresses or skirts over her pajamas when she runs out of nightgowns). I love her quirks sooo much!

I was lucky enough to been chosen to test the tee version because basic tees are never too much right? Especially this one with the puffed sleeves! My daughter liked so much that wore the tee next day to go to school!! It fits her like a glove and is ideal for a super-casual look or to use under a dress. I have to confess that I love sewing with knits and this pattern is perfect for it. 

Assembling the pattern was very easy, not much paper needed and the instructions were clear and detailed. It only includes size 2 to 8 (accurate size) but it is a very good starting point pattern. It’s a quick sew so you can make a bunch in just a few hours.
