I
was lucky to test the old version (just a month ago) and the new version of
this shirt. If I was already in love with the collar option, I’m
even more excited with the hood.
This pattern come with lots of options so you can use it all year around: hood,
collar, short
and long
sleeves,
with or without the front pocket.
For
my youngest “petit” I choose an edgy
look with short sleeve and the black
and white check fabric with all the options in the pattern. The thing with this
pattern is that you can make this shirt for your skinny tall son because Annemieke explains
you how to lengthen
both sleeves and bodice to make the perfect fit
for your kid!
Needless
to say that my little boy love
soooo much this shirt. It’s such a fun and easy pattern to sew. In a couple of
hours I wiped out two shirts! This pattern is designed for knit fabrics and the best part
is that includes sizes 12
months to 14 years. I only see great features in this
pattern: There are imperial (inch) and metric (cm) charts and seam
allowance is included. You also get a fabric chart and a chart with the
finished measurements. In top of that you have the option to only print the size you need
(Acrobat reader layered option) which make soooo much easy and fast!
Like
I said this pattern is not just for boys! Girls can have
one too! Just use the options in the pattern and those pretty girly
fabrics and you will have the cutest
and comfy outfit for your girl. Oh! I almost forgot to tell you: this is a beginner
friendly pattern! Easy
to make! Fast
to create!
